If you have recently been charged with several moving violations or driving while impaired (alcohol and/or drugs) in Illinois, you could lose your license. Revocation is the termination of your driving privileges by the Secretary of State’s office. The only way to get your license back is to apply for a new license at least one year after the revocation. However, in some situations, you may have to wait more than one year to reapply.
