Sign 4: You don’t get better after treatment
In addition to symptoms not matching a diagnosis, another common sign of a misdiagnosis is that the treatments patients are receiving are not resulting in health improvements. It’s important to point out here that not all patients get better with treatment even when the proper diagnoses are made and all of the right treatments are administered.
However, if you have been diagnosed with a condition, you are receiving treatments, and your health seems to be getting substantial worse, it’s time to question whether you were properly diagnosed and whether you are receiving the appropriate treatments for your condition.
