With our nation getting ready to celebrate Independence Day this week, safety regulators at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) are warning the public that July 4th is among the most deadly holidays for drunk driving crashes.
In fact, officials have point out that, over the 2013 July 4th holiday week, nearly 200 people were kill in traffic accidents that involve impair or drunk drivers.
So, officials are now telling motorists to be careful when hitting the roads this week, and they have provide some specific safety tips for those who will be traveling before, during and after July 4th as part of their celebrations.
